Looking for some brilliant cake in Bristol?

Visit Bristol is always worth a look for recommendations of things to do, places to go and eat in Bristol.  We were super chuffed to see we’d made the list of best bakeries in Bristol. The city is a flurry of superb eateries and foodie shops, delis, cafes and bars and to make it on to the list is something we’re extremely proud of.

As a deli with all sorts of deli ingredients from the South West and across Europe, a vast range of cheeses, gourmet takeaway food and treats, our cake counter is well …. the icing on the cake!

Charity our baker is incredibly talented and makes the most inventive and stunning cakes that sell out quickly.  More recently she’s been coming up with all sorts of gorgeousness, such as her fluffy raspberry and pistachio marshmallow teacakes, peanut millionaire shortbread, Black Forest gateau, homemade wagon wheels as well as her staples of chocolate raspberry brownies, flapjacks, tray bakes, New York cheesecake – the list goes on.  Many are gluten free and vegan, so there’s a little treat for everyone.

At a time when a little pick me up is a must, it’s so wonderful to see customers getting high on a little sweet treat.  They glide out of the deli with a big smile on their faces.  It’s what it’s all about for us – delighting customers!
