Our cheesemonger keeps the cheese counter brimming full of superb artisan cheeses and our takeaway food counter is offers a range of daily changing delicious takeaway meal all made by our brilliant chefs upstairs. Take a moment to look up from the food counter (it’s hard) and take a look at shelf upon shelf of artisan oils, vinegars, sauces, pastas, biscuits, james, honeys and incredible handmade chocolates. We were awarded UK’s Best Independent Shop by the Federation of Retailers as well as Best independent Food shop by the Guild of Fine Food and we’d put this success down to our brilliant and welcoming staff who really know their stuff.
Did I mention the cheese counter? From Cornish Yarg to Spanish Manchego, Italian Gorgonzola and French chevre, it’s always at its best and just delicious (don’t forget the Fine Cheese Company crackers and chutney or pickle.)
