Always popular (we’ve been making them for twenty years now!) our flapjacks are perfect with a cuppa at any time.
This has been used for making flapjacks for the deli so makes 48 – you might want to half the amounts!
440g golden syrup
400g sultanas/chopped apricots
100g pumpkin seeds
Preheat the oven to 150ºC and grease and line a large flat tin.
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup and stir until combined and resembling a thick light caramel.
Pour this over the dry ingredients and stir well to combine.
Bake in a greased and lined tin for 20-25 minutes until just turning golden brown. Allow to cool and cut in tin. No need to refrigerate unless you need it to cool down quickly.
