Terms & Conditions

By using this site and purchasing any products or gift vouchers, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

We do our best to keep all information up to date on this website, but occasionally some information may be out of date.

Please read through when you’re booking a class.  Do get in touch if you have any questions.  We are so grateful for your booking and hope you have a wonderful time! We think it’s always helpful to have terms and conditions so that any questions you may have can hopefully be answered here.

Cookery Classes

Cookery classes are small and your place is only confirmed once payment has been received.  We cannot hold places that have not been confirmed or paid for.

Menus for classes are a guide and may vary according to market availability.

Class requirements / what is included

The cost of all courses includes the recipes, the ingredients, all equipment, aprons to wear during the course and light refreshments/ wine. Therefore, you do not need to bring anything to a course, but you are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing and if you have long hair, to tie it back. We will offer plenty of opportunities for hand washing.

Arrival

So that we can start on time, please arrive 5-10 minutes early.

Belongings

All customers attending our cookery classes are responsible for their own belongings and we accept no liability for any loss or damage to these.

Allergies

Please let us know about allergies when you book. Once we have confirmed your place and you have informed us of allergies, we will ensure you are catered for.  As for most food establishments, we do all that we can to avoid cross contamination, but the cookery school is in an active professional catering kitchen which does use all ingredients.

Changes to bookings

Classes are non-refundable once booked and paid for.

In the event of your not being able to attend for whatever reason, we invite you to send someone else in your place.  Please let us know their name in advance.

If there is time, we will try re-sell the place to those on our mailing list or if there is a waiting list.  We cannot guarantee that we will find anyone.

If you are unable to attend and can give us 28 days’ notice, then we will transfer you to another class of your choice (providing there are spaces).  There is a £15 admin charge for this.

In the case of our needing to reschedule or cancel a class, we will let you know as soon as is possible (Covid has added additional challenges as you can imagine).

We will then transfer you to a new class.  If you cannot make this class, we will offer a voucher or refund.

We are unable to reimburse any expenses you may have incurred in relation to the cancelled event.

Adverse weather

We are not able to offer refunds where customers are unable to reach us due to adverse weather conditions.

In the event that you are unable to reach us, you may send someone else in your place. Please email us to let us know.

Gift vouchers

Papadeli gift vouchers may be used as whole or in part payment towards classes.

Gift vouchers expire 12 months after purchase. After the date set out on the gift voucher, it will automatically expire. Our staff are not responsible for reminding or informing customers when a gift voucher is due to expire.

Gift vouchers will be sent by email or post, directly to you or to an address you have provided.

Gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded. Your gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

We do not guarantee availability on all classes, so if a chosen class is full or you cannot find a suitable date during the validity period of your gift voucher, then we will try and help you find an alternative class or if this is not possible, the voucher can be used in the deli.

Photography

If you want to take photos, please ask permission from others in the class as not everyone likes to be photographed.
