Chicken, preserved lemon & olive tagine
Green herb & pistachio couscous
M’hanncha – filo pastry filled with almond paste, pistachio & cinnamon, scented with orange blossom water
are small (a max of 10 people) and very hands on. You get to use some of the finest ingredients, many of which are found in our award winning downstairs deli. Cookery classes are fun and have an easy going atmosphere and are suitable for cooks and novices alike.

The chef teacher
Alexis John is a chef of many years’ experience and one of the finest in the South West. She is a superb chef and enormously artistic as well as being warm, fun and approachable. People rave about her brilliant classes!
Where do I come?
84 Alma Rd, Clifton BS8 2DJ. Top floor – we will let you in if you come to the bottom door shortly before 6pm. If you are likely to arrive late, please email us in advance so we can arrange from someone to let you in.
What shall I bring?
Nothing – we supply all the ingredients, a glass of wine, apron and a box for you to carry your goodies home!
