The Cookery School at Papadeli is situated on the top floor of the 3 storeys of glorious food. Classes are small, so suitable for all levels as individual attention is excellent.  Learn tips and techniques for our Papadeli professional chefs.


Thursday 31st January Papadeli Salads & seasonal cookery class. £75


A celebration of all that is seasonal. Meat lovers or vegetarians widen your passion for food and your

knowledge of sustainable cookery and learn how to create beautiful Papadeli salads.

Watercress, Jersualem artichokes, quince, salsify, blood oranges, hispi cabbage, Speck, celeriac and much more …


Beginner’s cookery class – essentials that will transform your cooking

Wednesdays 16th & 23rd January, 6th & 20th February 6.30-8.30pm

£200 for the 4 part (fortnightly) course over 2 months.

Learn the basic art of cookery, knife skills, dressings, butchery, fish prep, sauces, soups, seabass, haddock, spuds, lamb, oysters, chicken, artichoke, hazelnuts  and much, much more…

This 4 – part course will motivate you to cook beautiful, simple food.

You’ll be a master-chef after the 2 months!


Vegetarian cookery class £75

Papadeli Head Chef Stefani will demonstrate European vegetarian cookery with a focus on healthy dishes using sustainable ingredients.

Focusing seasonal cooking learning how to come up with delicious and easy meals suitable for both a Monday night supper or Saturday dinner party

Rhubarb, chicory, purple sprouting broccoli,leeks. rocket, cauliflower – make more-ish and delicious dishes – you’ll be amazed at the wonderful range of flavours!


Northern Spanish Tapas £75

Take yourself off to the bars of Galicia and learn to create a tapas feast out of all that is seasonal with British produce and artisan Spanish products. Tips and techniques of how to wow your family and friends with foods that are full of flavour, look great and are simple to cook.

Work with beautiful, authentic ingredients straight from the deli – Serrano, Chorizo, lamb, anchovies, hake, sardines, salt cod, Manchego, piquillos peppers, blood oranges.

Tamarind, our Pastry chef responsible for  all the gorgeous cakes and treats you see at the deli and at the RWA cafe, will take you through some the Papadeli favourites from truffles, brownies, pear and honey cake, madeleines and macarons along with many more wonderful sweets delights. This is baking at its best.


Provencale cookery class £75

Think of those incredible Southern French markets -big flavors with rough edges. Mountains, rivers and the sea. We will cover fish, meat and vegetable dishes with seasonal variation. A real treat for lovers of provincial French regional cooking.

Crab, mackerel, sardines, spring lamb, purple sprouting broccoli, wild garlic – learn how to prepare beautiful ingredients for great results.

Wild mushrooms, asparagus, broad beans, spinach, lamb, wild garlic, clams, oysters – take the storecupboard of the season and pick up tips on how to present mouthwatering, original, imaginative dishes.

A celebration of beautiful ingredients and wonderful rustic cooking.

Risotto, polenta, pesto, panzanella, Italian breads. slow braised meat dishes.

From Tuscany to Sicily this is a celebration of all things Italian.

Explore dishes using crab, sardines, spring lamb, asparagus, beetroots, broad beans, morels, leeks.
