Our Bristol cookery school has a great reputation for fun, informative classes, taught by professional chefs. They sell out quickly, so please book soon!

Hands on, informative, informal.

A number of starters, mains and puddings are created using the finest ingredients. Once demonstrated, you get to put your learning to use and recreate what you’ve learnt.  Then you get to eat it! There is usually a Papadeli goody bag of what you’ve made to take home too.

 Our cookery school is on Alma Road, Clifton, in a sunny and light top floor kitchen.  Use all those wonderful deli ingredients to produces flavoursome, imaginative dishes.

Evening classes run 6-9pm

A wonderful selection of classes to bring you some classics as well as new dishes using the finest ingredients. Taught by highly accomplished chef (she is one of the best in Bristol), Alexis John, who teaches with humour and warmth.  She makes everyone feel comfortable, no matter what their level. Mediterranean inspiration – big flavours with vegetables – September 12th 6-9pm

This is a wonderful class for seeking new ideas and inspiration for making the most of vegetables. Let’s face it, many of us cook and eat too much meat as we just can’t think of nice vegetable dishes.  No excuse now!

A journey to the Middle East – September 26th 6-9pm

A hugely popular class – learn how to make a range of delicious Middle Eastern dishes. Ottolenghi brought this sort of food to our TV screens, but we’ve been making it for years.  Book quick!

Autumn in Tuscany – October 10th 6-9pm

As the weather cools, these comforting dishes will provide a lovely menu to brighten up the Autumn when you’re cooking at home. The dishes sound complex and impressive, but under Alexis’ superb tuition, you’ll learn the secret to making it all easy.

Spanish Tapas – October 24th 6-9pm

Who doesn’t love tapas?  Imagine it, your friends come round and you lay out a range of fabulous tapas.  Alexis will show you how to make it all easy. Learn how to make tapas like a professional!

Book this one early, as it’s a fabulous celebration of Italian seasonal dishes that will give you some original options (and move you away from the turkey) at Christmas.  A properly festive class – so popular, we’re putting on two classes.
