Cookery Class October 4th
An Italian cookery class – from the Sicilian harvest
When: October 4th 6-9pm
Where: Papadeli 84 Alma Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2DJ.
Use the finest ingredients from a Sicilian harvest and create dishes you’d find in the villages of Sicily.
Teacher and professional chef, Alexis John is a whizz with food. Her relaxed and friendly style means everyone feels they can have a go creating delicious dishes. Suitable for all levels of cook, this small, hands on class will teach you many techniques to give your dishes a professional spin!
Some of the dishes you’ll make:
Sicilian pizza (Sfincione)
Panelle di Palermo (popular Sicilian snack made from chickpeas)
Cassatelle Trapanesi (crescents of dough filled with chocolate and ricotta)
(This is an indication of what we will make – sometimes dishes change according to the ingredients available and time restrictions).
What shall I bring?
Nothing – we supply all the ingredients, a glass of wine, apron and a box for you to carry your goodies home!
